🛡️ Child Safety Standards
LoveLinc has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page describes our published standards for preventing such content and conduct on the platform — as required under Google Play Store's Child Safety policy.
Last updated: 13 May 2026
1. Strict 18+ requirement
- LoveLinc is a dating service for adults aged 18 and over only.
- Every account is required to confirm their date of birth at registration. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are immediately and permanently banned, and the related sign-up data is reported to law enforcement where required by law.
- Profiles depicting minors or impersonating minors are not permitted under any circumstances.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE content
- The creation, upload, sharing, solicitation or possession of any Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) on LoveLinc is strictly prohibited and a permanent-ban offence.
- Any content involving minors in a sexual, romantic, or inappropriate context is removed on detection and reported to the National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), India's National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), and other relevant authorities as required by Indian law and international conventions.
- Grooming, sextortion, predatory communication, and any attempt to solicit content from a minor — actual or perceived — will trigger immediate ban and legal escalation.
3. Prevention controls
- Identity & age verification: Mandatory selfie + photo-ID verification before profiles go live. Manual moderator review of every uploaded image.
- Automated screening: Every profile photo and gallery upload runs through an NSFW classification model before being shown publicly.
- Phone number masking: Phone numbers in chat are masked to reduce off-platform predatory outreach.
- Conversation moderation: Chat messages are scanned for abusive language, grooming patterns, and prohibited solicitation; flagged conversations are escalated to the moderation team.
- Behavioural signals: Repeated reports, unusual messaging volume, or suspicious patterns trigger account review.
4. In-app reporting mechanism
Any user can report a profile, chat, or piece of content suspected of involving a minor or CSAE:
- Open the profile or chat.
- Tap the ⋮ (three-dot) menu.
- Choose "Report User" and select the reason (a "Suspected minor / CSAE" option is provided).
- Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours. CSAE-flagged reports are reviewed within 1 hour.
- Confirmed CSAE reports trigger immediate account ban, content preservation for law-enforcement chain of custody, and escalation to the relevant authorities.
5. Direct contact for child safety concerns
If you have a concern about child safety on LoveLinc that you would like to report outside the in-app flow, you can reach us directly:
- Email: csae@lovelinc.com
- Email (general support): support@lovelinc.com
- Grievance Officer (per India IT Rules 2021): see Contact us
We respond to verified child-safety reports as a top priority, ahead of all other queues.
6. Cooperation with law enforcement
- LoveLinc preserves evidence relating to confirmed CSAE incidents for the period required by law and provides it to appropriate authorities on lawful request.
- We file mandatory CyberTipline reports with NCMEC for incidents involving US-based users or content.
- For incidents involving Indian users, we comply with the Information Technology Act 2000, the POCSO Act 2012, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
7. Policy review & updates
This policy is reviewed at least once every 6 months and updated to reflect changes in law, platform features, and industry best practice. Material updates are communicated to users via in-app notification and email.
